Vladimir has been working as a research scientist in the field of computational quantum mechanical modeling since 2002, with his most recent research focused on nanomaterial synthesis, multiferroic ceramic materials for application in electronics, and design of potential new anti-cancer drugs. In addition, he spearheaded projects in the field of renewable energy generation and storage. His technical expertise are in the areas of data analysis, parametric and non-parametric modeling, and feature engineering. Vladimir has authored over 40 publications in international scientific journals. In 1999, he was one of the co-founders of FreeSerbia portal, the first Serbian complete digital news platform, and served as one of its editors until 2001. In 2013-14, he developed ThermV, a software package for thermokinetic analysis used for automatic deconvolution and modeling of complex thermally-activated processes. He received his PhD in Chemistry from Columbia University in 2007.
